Bowling for Columbine.. November 19, 2008

Watching the movie “Bowling for Columbine” is really eye opening to a lot of things. I get confused while watching it because I don’t know if things that are said are true or lies. One of the mains things that stuck out to me was that people were blaming Marilyn Manson for the shootings at Columbine. I understand that the two kids listened to the singer. I don’t think that he should be the blame for the kids violent acts. Marilyn Manson is a scary guy and not the best role model for the younger generation but I think that WAY more factors come into play when it comes to those highschool students going crazy and killing innocent people. What about: how they were raised, the fact that they can buy guns so easily, if they were picked on in high school, war, and other many other reasons. Then again who really knows what was going through the two teens heads, apparently something made them snap. The fact that we don’t know who made these kids kill there fellow classmates means that we shouldn’t blame innocent people for their hateful crimes. It really baffles my mind that teens could do something like this. The reason reason these kids did this will always remain a mystery…
